Brien Holden Vision Institute
The Brien Holden Vision Institute is an Australian non-profit company which over 25 years has worked with a global network of partners to advance eye research and translate its discoveries into breakthrough products. It has developed contact lenses that provide safe vision correction and is now focussed on creating revolutionary new products for the most common eye conditions that affect the sight of billions worldwide. The Institute also applies its vision research more broadly – in novel materials to fight infection and alternative ways to diagnose disease – channels a percentage of its royalties into efforts to deliver eye care to people in need and provides postgraduate research opportunities for outstanding students from around the world.
