Optometry Giving Sight needs you!!

In conjunction with the Vision Source National Conference in Dallas from 19-22 April, we are seeking 500 Vision Source Deputies to sign up and help people who are needlessly blind due to uncorrected refractive error and low vision.

Who can be a Deputy? Anyone who is prepared to “sign up” and make a regular monthly donation to help the estimated 250 million people throughout the world who do not have access to basic eye care services.

As a Deputy you will also be authorized to “arrest” your friends and colleagues and ask them to sign up too!

How do you become a Deputy? Its simple. Just make your first tax deductible donation by clicking the donation link here. Alternatively, download the donation form, complete and return to us by fax or mail.

Thanks to the support of Glenn Ellisor and the team at Vision Source, every Deputy will receive an exclusive co-branded Optometry Giving Sight / Vision Source t-shirt – as pictured below.

One lucky Deputy will have the opportunity to visit one of the priority projects funded by Optometry Giving Sight and implemented by our partners. This will be a life changing experience that will provide you with an opportunity to help train local staff and experience the joy and the challenges involved in service delivery in a developing country.

If you are attending the Vision Source National Meeting we ask you to wear your t-shirt to the Optometry Giving Sight presentation as part of the General Assembly on Saturday 21 April at 7.45am.

If you are unable to attend, we will register your name and you will be recognized on our website.
We will also mail you your t-shirt.

If we achieve this then we will immediately start generating $50,000 per month for people in need.
