Channel 10 and SBS interviewed cricket legend, optometrist and WSDC Ambassador on their afternoon and evening news. Channel 7 and WIN TV also interviewed Misty Francis of Buck and Todd in QLD.

Shaw TV in Calgary interviewed Dr. Diana Monea and the clothing designer Paul Hardy at her practice on October 6th. Dr. Monea pledged all of her eye exam fees on World Sight Day and Paul Hardy created unique designer t-shirts for sale by silent auction with all proceeds going to Optometry Giving Sight. CITY TV's The Breakfast Show in Calgary also interviewed Paul Hardy about this line of t-shirts on World Sight Day.

CHAT TV interviewed Dr. Kerrie Schwandt of Medicine Hat about the problem of preventable blindness and how her practice was taking the World Sight Day Challenge.
