Our thanks to Eye On Evanston in Calgary AB! Staff member Akirta Sran headed up the efforts, which included a bake sale with eyeball themed cupcakes, a ‘Guess the candies in the jar’ contest where the person with the closest guess won the whole jar, and they also invited patients to make a donation! Every person who donated got to write their name on a card to place on the wall to celebrate their generosity!

Our thanks to Dolman Eyecare Centre in New Hamburg ON who raised $2525 for the 2015 World Sight Day Challenge! To raise such a wonderful amount, in addition to the practice making a generous donation, they organized a 'Movie Night Out' basket draw and a homemade 'Christmas Swag' draw to help encourage patients to participate! They had paper 'glasses' for everyone who donated to write their name on to post on the wall for recognition, and they kept track of donations using a 'thermometer poster' to help show everyone how much was raised to date and to encourage them to contribute to their goal. Kudos to everyone there for your support and efforts!
